About Me:

Hey Hipsters! My name is Jen, and I am the creator of HipstersCo. A little bit about me: I love discovering the world, seeing new places, culture and perspectives. I love to be creative and try new things whether it’s with art, music, or just in my thought's. I love the ocean, and pretty much anything outside. And I see life as a beautiful gift that deserves to be enjoyed. 

How HCo. Was Created:

I have always collected unique rocks and shells as I went to different places around the world. I think their natural beauty is remarkable, with amazing patterns, shapes, and detail. I had the idea to create HipstersCo when I moved to the island of Oahu, Hi. When I was there I started getting really into the art of shelling, especially diving in the water to see what was hiding below the surface. I decided to I wanted to share this natural beauty with others by turning these interesting fragments of shell and rock into stylish jewelry pieces. What I love about the jewelry I make is that each piece is completely unique, and a lot of the shells/rocks are fragments, or have imperfections, but there is so much beauty  and style to be found in those imperfections.

HipstersCo’s Mission:

My goal for HipstersCo is to help people find pieces to embellish their personal style. I also hope I can inspire people to live outside the box and get creative with their lives. There is only one you, so rock it.
